Day 2…My plan today was a flatter ride, along with a glimps of Palma city.. refreshing yesterday in mountains. My plan was to get down to sea level and secretly find a cool beach.
From Establiments, I head to city centre and continue East along Playa de Palma (the German Magaluf I hear), straight to roundabout next to Aqualand El’Arena where I took Ma-4016 road. Starting with really long uphill stretch with me still trying to keep 25-30km/h nice surface and the wind on my back. At the top, a wonderful view of the city of Palma and the surrounding bay (similar to Table Bay in Cape Town). From here long flat road, perfect to keep your cadence on right level… Can Roses round-about which you can’t miss and onto Sa Rapita.. I look around for perfect spot to have swim and to chill out. On a nice hot sunny day, it’s perfect easy road. I head back the same way.. You will find a bit harder on the way back, but I’m sure you will enjoy downhill to Palma where I record my top speed of 62 km/h. This route took me good 4-5h. I just took my time and just have a relaxing day. 100km
