We organised a closed road cycling event on one of the most famous cycling roads in the world. The Carretera de Sa Calobra, which winds its way round 26 hairpins over 10km from sea level to the top of Coll del Reis at 686m. Built in 1932 by Spanish civil engineer Antonio Parietti Coll, the Sa Calobra, affectionately known by many as “The Serpent”. The event was a 10km time trial from the port to the 270 degree loop know as the “Nus de Sa Corbata”. Competitors started at 30 second intervals and it really was them against the clock.
